TIMESTAMP CONVERTER · v1.1.0

Your time stays yours.

Privacy policy · Updated September 6, 2026

Processing on your device

Timestamp Converter processes timestamps, dates, and batch inputs entirely on your device. It does not collect or transmit them to us or to third parties. It does not access websites, browsing history, accounts, or page contents. There are no analytics, ads, tracking services, or remote code.

Clipboard

Copy buttons write the result you select to your clipboard. The Paste button requests optional clipboard read permission and reads text only when you click it. Opening the extension never reads your clipboard. You can reset the permission in the extension's Settings. Keyboard paste works without that permission.

Local storage and history

Theme, language, selected timezone, and the history preference are stored in Chrome's local extension storage. Conversion history is off by default. If you enable it, the last 20 successful conversions, their original input, units, and ISO dates are saved on this device. They are not synced by the extension. Batch input and results are kept only while the popup is open.

For upgrades from the prototype, existing history is deleted unless you have explicitly enabled the new history setting. Turning history off or choosing Clear History deletes saved conversions. If storage fails, the extension displays an error; retry deletion before assuming it succeeded.

Exports and retention

CSV and JSON files are downloaded only when you choose an export button. Exported files remain wherever you save them until you delete them. Clipboard data stays under your operating system's clipboard controls. Local extension preferences persist until you remove the extension or clear its stored data. Uninstalling removes the extension's local storage.
