Timestamp Converter is a browser extension that performs all date and timestamp processing locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Read: The extension may read your clipboard when you open the popup to detect if a timestamp or date is present. This is optional and gated by browser permissions. If detected, a banner offers to convert it. Clipboard content is never stored permanently, never transmitted over a network, and is discarded immediately if it does not contain a valid timestamp.
Write: When you click a copy button, the extension writes the selected result to your clipboard. This only happens in response to your explicit action.
Session-only history: A temporary in-memory list of copied values is maintained while the popup is open to support "Copy All" functionality. This list is erased as soon as the popup closes.
We use Chrome's storage.local API to save your preferences (e.g., selected language and theme). This data remains on your device and is never synced to the cloud or shared with anyone.
We do not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, content delivery networks, or external libraries. All code and assets are bundled locally with the extension.
Preferences persist until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data. No other data is retained. There is no user account or server-side database.
We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
