Privacy-focused
As a FOSS developer, I believe your data belongs to you — not to me, not to advertisers, not to anyone else. This extension is designed with privacy as a core principle.
Data Collection
In short: I don't collect your data.
This browser extension is designed to work entirely on your device. I do not:
- Collect personal information
- Track your usage or behavior
- Use analytics or telemetry
- Store data on external servers
- Share any information with third parties

Local Data Storage
Any data you create or input into the extension stays on your device. This includes:
- Configuration files and preferences
- User-generated content
- Application settings
- Cache and temporary files
You have full control over this data. You can view, modify, export, or delete it at any time. Check each project's documentation for specific file locations.
Some of my projects, especially regarding Chrome extensions, may include content script injection. The extension injects its content script only when needed to analyze visible page text. No data is being collected or sent.
This extension uses Chrome permissions such as activeTab,
scripting, storage, and tabs
solely to enable on-demand text analysis and to store user preferences locally.
These permissions are not used to collect or transmit data.
Open Source Transparency
This extension is released under open source licenses. This means:
- Verifiable claims: You can inspect the source code to verify these privacy claims
- Community oversight: Other developers can audit the code for privacy issues
- No hidden functionality: What you see in the code is what you get

This extension does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
If an application requires integration with external services (APIs, cloud storage, etc.) for its core functionality:
- This will be clearly documented
- You should review that service's privacy policy separately
